I live in south Orange County, California.  I had heard of YWAM as a young Christian in the early '80s.  I recently obtained an iPod, and was blessed to find the YWAM podcast available through the itunes portal.  I just finished listening to Dean Sherman's outstanding and excellent three teachings on the unseen world and spiritual warfare.  It really challenged my thinking on the subject.  I look forward to listening to more of the good stuff from YWAM.  Thank you for making YWAM's teachings available!

I am a 25 year old Barbadian who loves travelling, the cultures of the world and learning languages...that would be me in a nutshell. I was a part of the 2004 DTS in De Poort Amsterdam...was the best thing I ever decided to do...I am on this site to hear good teaching and to remember what I would have learned during DTS...So continuing my education with YWAM through hearing lectures would be great..didnt even know this existed

My name is Sam Dubbelman, I live in Raliegh North Carolina on the east coast of America.  I did my DTS with Marine Reach Fiji in 2005.  I was randomly searching the internet for YWAM teaching and fell upon this site, I love it! I am finishing up my associates degree at community college this year and feel the Lord calling me back to YWAM.  I am planning on staffing/serving for two years then finishing up my college degree in something I feel the Lord calling to.  I am not sure exactly where I will spend these two years and am in the process of contacting people and trying to figure that out.  But thanks so much for putting this site together!

In Christ,

Sam

Re: Some info about the ywam podcast community

I'm a former YWAMer, who did my DTS and SOE in Tyler under Stew, and then did an SOTB.
Then, I got married, and moved to New Mexico.
Now I'm busy raising two little kids, and my husband is working.  So, I love hearing these teachings, because honestly, church preaching/teaching often is not the same.
Thank you.

Re: Some info about the ywam podcast community

Hi - I'm Terry Sherman (no, not related to Dean Sherman!) an American living and serving in YWAM in The Netherlands, Heidebeek base, for 25 years; married to Ed Sherman who is the Chair for the College of Humanities & International Studies of the U of N.  I am now focussing on developing teaching on raising support - I want to inspire YWAMers to have confidence in raising support through understanding the Biblical foundation and discover our wrong attitudes that hold us back from being fully funded.  I want to network with others who are teaching in this area as there are way too few of us!  So email me if you teach on this subject so I can learn more to pass on.  I'm looking forward to listening to the podcasts on this subject.  Thanks, Terry
